U9-U10 Academy Program

NFC 2015 Youth Academy Clinic Registration 

Join us for a free clinic put on by our professional staff, and experience what it means to be a member of Nebraska FC. You'll get a taste as to why our club generates the top boys teams in the state of Nebraska year in and year out. We will be offering a series of open clinics beginning in May and continuing on throughout the summer. Interested players will have the opportunity to be a part of our U9 and U10 Academy teams that begin play this fall.

Nebraska FC U9-U10 Academy Program

The U9-U10 Academy program is designed as a gateway to the Nebraska FC Select program that begins at U11. The purpose of The Academy Program is to build a foundation in our young players that will help them develop proper technique, decision-making, and 1v1 technical skills to succeed at the NFC select level and beyond. Our professional coaching staff provides elite level training and soccer education that can be found few other places.  

 

Training

Location: UNO Dome, Omaha South, Norris Middle School

U9 & U10 teams will train twice per week in the fall and spring and once per week in the winter

Duration: approximately 8-10 weeks in the fall, 16 training sessions over the winter and 8-10 weeks in the spring 

Cost

$700 if you register for the full 2015/2016 year

If paid by season:

$325 for fall

$100 for winter

$325 for spring

This fee is all inclusive. No other fees will be collected during the year other than the registration fees mentioned above and the purchase of the NFC Academy uniform, which is approximately $50. 

Games

Academy teams will compete in the highest divisions of the Eastern Nebraska Soccer Association (ENSA). U10 Academy teams may play up an age group in the Nebraska State League. There are approximately 7-8 league games per season. 

A variety of friendly games will be arranged throughout the year, particularly outside of the fall and spring seasons to maintain competition in down periods. 

 

Festivals

In addition to league matches, U9 and U10 Academy teams will play in roughly 1 festival (tournament) per season.
