Hastings NE- Not all of Nebraska Futbol Club players are from the Omaha metro. Hannah Wray and Brandt Bottolfson both bore the crest of NFC and Hastings High School Tigers. Mike Nanfito, head coach of Hastings High School boys, said, “Brandt played very well this season. He really had a great attitude in training and was always looking to develop his skills.” Bottolfson, who was also Miltia’s goalkeeper, started 6 games as a freshman and earned a 1.25 goals per game average. As a freshman Hannah Wray will be selected as first-team all-conference which is only a snapshot her first season as a Tiger. Hastings coach Greg Vuagniaux said, “[Wray] is an incredible player with a tremendous potential to get better.”  Wray, who was also a member of Renegade, ended the season with 15 goals and 4 assists. “She is one of the real true finishers,” stated Vuagniaux, “with her mentality as a winner she will have a great future in the sport.”
