Omaha NE- The Under 14 Catenaccio White team completed a sweep of the U14 Boys bracket at the Council Bluffs Spring Fling Soccer tournament. Catenaccio defeated Lakeville, (MN) Elite team by a score of 1-0, Spencer (IA) Fire 3-0, and Johnston (IA) United 9-0 to make it to the semi-finals.  In the semi finals Catenaccio held the Dakota Gold Rampage team to 2 shots on goal and defeated them 3-0. Catenaccio White then played the Great Plains (SD) Hornets in the championship game. Catenaccio’s defense held the Hornets to 6 shots on goal, and they won by a score of 3-0. For the tournament Catenaccio out-shot their opponents by a margin of 91 to 20, and goalkeepers Phil Hamilton, Shane Keene, and James Unger didn’t allow a goal the entire weekend.
