OMAHA, Neb. – Head Coach Bob Warming of the Creighton men’s soccer team has announced the Bluejays have received a National Letter of Intent from Mike Stillmock of Creighton Prep and NFC. Sillmock signed a NLI to play soccer for the Bluejays next season. Stillmock has earned first-team all-state honors in each of the last two seasons for the Junior Jays. During his sophomore campaign in 2003, the forward scored the game-winning goal in the state championship game to help Prep finish 15-1. The gifted athlete was also an all-state place kicker in football last season for another state championship team. Stillmock is a member of the U19 NFC En Fuego.
“Mike has outstanding speed and athleticism,” said Warming of the future Bluejay attacker. “Having been an all-state football player for the state champions, it gives him a toughness and a certain edge which will help him compete at the collegiate soccer level.”
