OMAHA, Neb. – Creighton men’s soccer freshman Tim Bohnenkamp (Omaha Millard South) has been named to the CollegeSoccerNews.com National Team of the Week after his offensive production last week. The rookie scored twice and added an assist as the Bluejays defeated Wisconsin and Marquette.

The left-footed midfielder bent a corner kick directly into the net for his first collegiate goal against Wisconsin last Friday night. He then assisted the first CU goal and scored the game-winning tally in a 2-1 win over Marquette on Sunday. His two goals and five points rank second on the team, as the newcomer has started all six matches for the 5-1-0 Bluejays this year.

Tim played club soccer for NFC En Fuego from U14 – U18s.
